Hurry scurry, where’s my McFlurry?
Busy, dizzy let’s get fizzy
Faster, faster please the master
Want more, have more than before
Tick tock watch the clock
Your time, my time, never mind
This job, next job, like the Mob
I’m done, your done, on the run
Right now, take away
One click, next day
Gratification like coffee
Instant. Don’t bluff me
Stop the world.
I want to get off.
Fast forward,
I’ve had enough
Respect time, value time
Events are defined
By the space in between
Like they used to be
Don’t rush the sunrise,
The bus will come when it arrives,
Waiting for a letter.
Slow can be better.
Take a step further,
Be a life surfer.
This wave, that wave
Which wave, what wave?
When will one come?
Is it the one?
Riding high, easy motion
Or mouthfuls of the ocean?
Waiting, not knowing,
Floating and flowing.
At one with the sea,
I’m totally free.
