I will be resting
and happy
and free
Guided by a light within
I will stand for collective liberation
And walk with the people of the global majority
I will grow from myself
Nurtured by my lifetime
I will reach towards the sun
And offer all I have to give
I will be remembered for my poetry
Because I chose to inspire
I will carry my pen
And leave behind my voice
I come from India
And I move towards freedom
I will be the voice of a new today
I will be the light in my life first
I will be the change I need
